At Beach Chiropractic, we take great pride in providing the finest chiropractic care to each and every patient. The mission of this office is to partner with our patients to help promote healthier lives through the detection and correction of the vertebral subluxation.  A subluxation is a minor misalignment of the bone or joint which affects the nervous system and may lead to reduced function, disability, or illness.  Dr. Robben’s  primary focus is to find and correct the subluxation and help to restore or maintain a well-functioning nervous system.

We have included information below about the different chiropractic services offered in our Cocoa Beach chiropractic office, but please call us at (321) 868-2225 if you have any questions!

Chiropractic Care

We provide advanced spinal correction and chiropractic adjustments utilizing "state of the art" chiropractic techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic care have chiropractors been able to provide the level of help and expertise that is available today. Many of the newest chiropractic techniques are actually safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before. As a chiropractor who cares about utilizing the most advanced chiropractic techniques, Dr. Christa Robben, DC has years of training, expertise and experience in helping patients to optimize their health and achieve wellness through the reduction of the vertebral subluxation.  This in turn provides relief from back pain, neck pain, headaches, and other related conditions originating from the spine. Chiropractic care under a trained professional can even be used to prevent injuries and help your nervous system and body to function at its peak potential.

Dr. Robben uses a number of highly effective adjustment techniques to improve spinal motion and reduce harmful spinal nerve interference caused by vertebral subluxations. These techniques include S.O.T., Diversified, Activator, Thompson, Upper Cervical, Arthrostim, and Flexion Distraction. Dr. Robben is excited to have learned a new technique called OTZ, while training under Dr. Francis Murphy, Dr. Lou D’Amico, and Dr. Michael Hall. This technique focuses on a specific subluxation in the skull-on-spine relationship, known as the Hatcher-Murphy Subluxation. Resolution of this subluxation can have profound effects on brainstem nuclei, especially cranial nerve 11 which is involved in Frozen Shoulder Syndrome and cranial nerve 10 which, through the poly vagal response, can have profound effects on children with developmental delays.  During this time, Dr. Robben also earned a certificate in Chiropractic Functional Neurology through Dr. Hall which explains how this method of analysis and treatment can affect conditions such as Frozen Shoulder Syndrome, Migraine Headache, Vertigo, Insomnia, Bell’s palsy, Autism, ADHD, posture, as well as others.

Dr. Robben blends her 10 years of massage therapy experience with 9 years of chiropractic experience in order to achieve a comfortable, effective adjustment suited to each patients individual needs and comfort.

Afraid of the adjustment?  No worries, Dr. Robben will not begin your adjustment until you are fully comfortable.

Wondering if you are too old or young?  Dr. Robben's patients range from newborns to over 97 years old!

Lifestyle Advice

Many of our patients come to see our chiropractor to address a specific pain symptom such as back pain, neck pain or headaches. While our chiropractor will address each patient's specific condition with chiropractic care, we often find it helpful to "coach" our patients towards achieving a healthier lifestyle. For example, there may be certain activities that you should avoid or do differently to prevent yourself from unintentionally aggravating your particular health challenges. The goal of including lifestyle advice with a chiropractic care plan is to help each and every patient achieve the fulfilling and happy lifestyle they deserve, one that is full of the activities that are enjoyed most. We recognize that every single one of our patients is a whole person, and we use our expertise to help them reach total health and wellness.

Nutritional Counseling

What does nutrition have to do with chiropractic care? The goal of chiropractic care is to help patients achieve total health and balance with their body, and as part of that goal we provide specific recommendations on nutritional supplements and healthy food choices. Nutritional counseling by Dr. Robben can assist a patient on their return to optimal health. Do you know which supplements and vitamins are good for you? Do you know how these supplements and vitamins interact with one another? At our Cocoa Beach chiropractic clinic, we can provide each patient with a structured nutritional program that is based on their individual needs.

We also offer the ALCAT food and chemical sensitivity blood test.  The ALCAT test may help uncover which foods and other substances trigger chronic inflammation and its related health issues such as gastrointestinal, metabolic disorders and others. With these test results, Dr. Robben can create a personalized food plan to help heal your digestive system and reduce stress on your body. This may in turn help patients to lose weight, feel better, and lead a more vibrant life.

Spinal & Postural Screenings

There is a saying that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Your spinal health is no exception. Posture and spinal screenings by a trained and experienced chiropractor such as Dr. Christa Robben, DC can help reveal important health information, unlocking the door to improved health and well-being. In order to help the Cocoa Beach community, we provide screenings at the office during your first visit.
